I Believe

There is nothing sweeter than knowing no matter what life challenges are encountered, each of us is known intimately. Our potential and our weaknesses. Both are used for our good, and the good of others. We are all inextricably connected, and it is by our choices we are touched and touch the lives of others.

As I have followed promptings to reach out to living grandparents, uncles, aunts, and cousins we have all been changed for the better. Regardless of religious beliefs it remains that all feel connected and drawn to one another. Our ancestors are not silenced by death, but only waiting for the living to remember them. Genealogy is so much more than finding family names - in large part you are finding yourself as well. We find answers to present day problems and questions as we unfold the lives of those who have gone before us and learn from them.
